Hello happiness....

Hi friends, I'm back today with a card AND a layout!

The best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned!  I'm also up on the Love is in the Details blog where I'm showcasing a new release of my laser cut chipboard designs, called Wedding Words.  They will be in the store later this week and will be available in a variety of sizes suitable for card sentiments, layout titles and even home decor pieces.

Here is an image of the selection of words and phrases.

First up is a card that uses the Best Wishes sentiment.

I painted it with white spray paint and layered it over vellum and some of that gorgeous paper from the Kaisercraft Indigo Skies line.  I added a piece of ribbon (when's the last time I ever did that??) and some pearls to create this simple but elegant card.

I also made a scrapbook layout using one of the card sentiments for the title.

I left the chipboard plain and unadorned this time and just layered it overtop of a grouping of bits and pieces that I dug out of my thought-I-would-use-it-once-then-changed-my-mind-leftovers-dish.  Laying there all in a jumble they might look a bit random, but I love how they coordinate here so calmly and quietly!

I combined another random grouping of embellishments along side the photo.

To create balance between the larger b&w photo on the right, I printed the smaller photo in color, and framed it with a gold foil chipboard frame from a Becky Higgins Project Life kit and added a gold sparkle paper bow from Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper.

Other products used include patterned papers from Kaisercraft (Lilac Whisper - grey), Studio Calico, Webster's Pages, Pink Paislee, Gossamer Blue (photo mats), puffy stickers from Pink Paislee (C'est la Vie, polka dot heart) and Maggie Holmes (bird), washi tape from Dear Lizzy (lime green strip), die cuts from Pink Paislee's Moonstruck line (butterfly and rose), acetate "Love this Day" die cut from Maggie Holmes's Shine collection, label sticker from Gossamer Blue, and an alphabet stamp from Stampin' Up! to stamp the names and date.

If you're interested in purchasing chipboard laser cuts, click on through to the LiitD store in a day or two where you'll find them listed.  Thanks for stopping by today!
